Privacy Policy
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerns personal information about you that I may collect, store and share. By contacting me you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out in the GDPR policy.
Personal Information Collected from Website Contact Form:

- The nature of your enquiry
Secure Storage
I make every effort to keep all information confidential. Your personal information (this includes personal demographics, health records, session recording material) is stored securely using password encrypted documents. These documents are saved securely to an external hard-drive. This external hard-drive is stored in a lockable safe. The information collected is stored for no longer than is necessary in accordance with the GDPR regulations.
Sharing information
I practice in accordance with the HCPC and BPS's code of ethics and professional guidelines.
Information provided by you will remain confidential unless we agree to discuss such information with a third party (for example written report to client’s GP, insurer etc).
Your situation and therapeutic work undertaken may be discussed within my professional supervision with a Registered Clinical Psychologist. Your identifiable information, for example your name and address will not be shared.
Legal exceptions
The only circumstances where confidentiality will be broken is where there are concerns about either about your safety or the safety of another person. Confidentiality may also be broken in situations where I am legally obliged, by the law, to provide information for court proceedings. Wherever possible, this will be discussed with you first.
Right to Access
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, free of charge, in an electronic or paper format.
Right to be Forgotten
You have the right to ask me to erase any information that I hold about you. This includes your personal information that is no longer relevant to original purposes, or if you wish to withdraw consent. In all cases and when considering such requests, these rights are obligatory unless it is information that I have a professional or legal obligation to retain.
Data Portability
As the client, you have the right to receive your personal information which you previously provided, and also have the right to transfer that information to another party. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018, the data “controller” is Dr Tinisha Kennedy (Kennedy Consultation & Psychological Therapy Ltd).
Terms and Conditions will be provided during our initial assessment appointment.
